today's divination:
from the spirit of T'sola, aka Zola the Zen. a cat, a friend, a companion, a familiar... a teacher.
and, from my heart and soul, where her teachings will always live.
T'sola visited today, one year after her passing, from this plane at least. interesting how what to some is just a 'pet', a 'soulless animal', a 'non-intelligent being' even, could have such a profound effect on a human life. T'sola gave love when no one else ~ not even me-myself-i ~ would or could. she cared for me, graciously. and she took my care, graciously... needing without demanding, thankful for her life.
knowing nothing and everything beyond her little world, and content with that infinite knowledge, she taught:
the truth of never ending, unconditional love
the comfort and joy of being fully accepted, just as one is
the healing qualities of compassion and care
the uncountable benefits of imagination and play
the art of employing just the right amount of energy to every action
caution yet not fear in the face of reality
the inevitability of the cycles of life
the pain of transition, and the pleasure of moving through it
the emptiness of loss can be filled with love, memories and the connection to Spirit
the Grace of Tears
...and so much more, so much more...
a friend is gone ~ from this plane at least ~ and it does not make any difference whether person, animal, plant or idea; a friend by any title is a beautiful rose...
and the true human learns how little s/he truly knows.
