waiting for self acceptance
they noisily gathered under a large old oak tree for their lesson this day, when Longtooth, the seemingly ancient Wizard, suddenly appeared before them. everyone became respectfully silent as he said:
"does anyone remember the story from yesterday? i can't quite recall...." "i do!" exclaimed one young girl. "i drew a picture to help me." "wonderful Heather. show us please, and remind us all."
"in short... no offense Master Longtooth." "hrrumph. none taken, dear girl. continue." "well there was this shining white horse who had waited a long, long, long time for a Wizard to appear and magically remove these three growths on his head from which he suffered, and which he hated. the wizard never showed and the growths had grown and become hard like horns. finally, the horse decided to accept himself as he was and go on his way. but when he tried to move, instead of walking or running, his blanket became wings and he started to fly! he loved it! and the horns helped him steer in the clouds and fly with the Moon. just then, a Wizard happened by, in disguise, and identified the flying horse to his apprentice as 'a Magical Trinicon, whom we give much respect. the Trincon has three distinctive horns and brings us the brilliant light of the night Moon..."
"Excellent Heather! thank you. has everybody thought about what this story might mean?"
"that which we suffer can make us stronger?" "very true Eli."
"waiting for a Wizard can be a very long ordeal?" "hrrumph. yes, Kia. especially if you don't really need one. at times we find we're actually waiting for something different than we think..."
"in accepting ourselves and loving ourselves we can all become beautiful, magical, purposeful beings!" shouted Heather.
"all of you already are rare and magical beings, dear heart ~ it is up to each of you to recognize and accept that for yourself, and share with the world your unique beauty and magic.... now, shall we play like Magical Trinicons and fly home?" "Yes! thank you Master Longtooth."
"you are so welcome, bright beings; thank you..."
bright blessings to all
