☵ Beh hexagram ☷

fellowship, celebration, good fortune

"a time of good fortune has come upon us" announced the wise Elder to the village. "let us express our joy with unity and celebration," she continued. "what will you bring to the gathering?"

"we shall bring food" said one woman, indicating herself and her mate; for it is our gift to create that which nurtures the body."

"i shall bring drink and stories of travel" announced a jovial man with a laugh. "for it is my gift to quench those thirsty for knowledge."

"and i shall bring my songs" chimed another. "it is my gift to ease the ears with the beautiful melody of the celestial skies."

"i shall bring the spirit of the dragon, for it is my gift to protect the heart and home as we gather."

and after most had happily announced the gifts they would bring, the Elder said "and i shall bring the gifts of sincerity, harmony and balance; for without the genuineness of these our celebration is wanting..."

at that moment, the youngest of the village stood and walked toward the Elder. "and what will you bring dear daughter?" asked the Elder.

with a gigantic smile the littlest one answered, "i shall bring myself, Grandmother; and full appreciation for all that the others bring!"

"that is indeed a wonderful gift, dear girl. and this shall be a wonderful celebration of our fellowship and good fortune!"

and it was truly the best Celebration the village had ever seen.

a perfect time to gather with friends and family in unity and joy
