‹› Intentions, Choices, Actions ‹›

walking in the Enchanted Forest always made her feel better ~ the way the light drifted through the trees, the succulent smells of the verdant growth, the very air she took in... all lifted her spirits. however, no matter how many times she went to the forest, she never understood why it was called Enchanted, until this particular day, that is. on this day, as she was passing an old stately tree she which she knew well thinking, 'i wish i knew my destiny', something i her intuition made her turn to look at the old tree. as she was watching a small door appeared in the trunk of the tree. she knew it had never been there before, and said so half aloud. to her surprise, a gnarled, ancient voice answered; "you have never made such a wish before. enter the heart of me to see the makings of your destiny...."

she was much more curious than afraid, so she went to the door, opened one side and squeezed through. she entered into a large room with a spiral staircase which she was compelled to go down. she heard the voice saying one word with each step on the staircase: "you... shall... find... the... truth... of... your... destiny... here" and at that point she came to another room. all around this room were doorways, and in the center three huge leather~bound books sat on a table. 

she went over to them and looked at the titles; Intentions, Choices, Actions.... she opened the one that said Intentions and saw it was blank. the voice then said, "your Intentions began the magic of creating your destiny. as you write this book, you will find doors opening in this room of your life. three doors in the room opened. "if your intentions are clear, then so shall be your path."

next she opened the book title Choices. it also was blank. the voice said, "the choices you make in your life will color your destiny. as you write this book, if your Choices are compatible with you Intentions, more ways will open to you." three more doors opened.

when she opened the book titled Actions, the voice continued; "your actions will bring solidity to your choices and your intentions. as you write this book, if your actions are compassionate, with concern for the well-being of all, and progressive along your intended path, yet even more of the portals of possibilities will open for you." three more doors opened. 

"and then?" asked the woman of the voice. "and then" answered the enchanted voice, "when these three books are all open and flowing together, the Enchantment begins: the magic of the never~ending Creative Thought, the Divine energy of the Elements, and your own supreme power will all support you with miracle and truth, and help to make your destiny happen. when all three of these books are in harmony, all doors will open and you may go through any possibility into a glorious and fulfilling life." at that, every door in the room flung open and the woman found herself magically above ground,  her back against the tree, three large books on her lap, and a quill in her hand. she immediately began to write....
