have no doubts
no one was certain of her age, but they were certain that she was the most adept Kahuna Seer ever known. she was scrying, crystal gazing, when he came to her. without losing attention to her work, without looking up, she simply said, "i cannot help you, troubled sir, if you have doubts." "i do not doubt your skills, honored Seer" he promptly replied. 

"ah, it is not your doubt of me which concerns. i know what you wish; for me to help you create your future. however, you must see it first. here is what to do ~ for the rest of today, listen to your thoughts about your future. just listen to what you say to yourself. then tonight, before you fall asleep, direct your dreams: tell yourself you will visit the magic forest of your mind and that you shall receive information there. then come back tomorrow and tell me what you saw."

so he did as she bid him do, and returned the next day, excited but a bit confused.

"and what did you see?" she asked. "in my dream, i saw the forest as if i were on the edge looking in. and sitting in the forest was a luminescent being seemingly waiting for me..."

"the forest is the power of your mind," said the Seer, " and the being your inner guide to this power. did she speak?" "no" he answered, but words kept coming into my vision: focus..."

"yes. one must focus heartily to create a future."

"trust..." "yes. one must trust in the process, in the collaboration of creation we have with our higher wisdom and the movement of destiny."

"forgiveness...?" "most emphatically yes. one must have no guilt, so must genuinely forgive oneself for any true or imagined transgressions to feel worthy of a desired future. a very important point. and...?"

"belief." "again, yes. one must believe that, being worthy, the desired outcome is already set in the fabric of the future, and the higher self, in collaboration, is bringing it to fruition."

"oh, it makes sense now" said the man. "when i listened to my thoughts as you asked, i found myself being vague, thinking i couldn't achieve it, that perhaps i didn't deserve the future i wanted, and doubted that it would ever happen...."

"so then, it is clear. "the Seer responded. "focus, have trust, purge your guilt, and above all believe and have no doubt; for even the smallest doubt will continue to make the future you desire elusive.... now dear sir, just realize that you need not my help to create the future you see... it is in your hands."
