dream of possibilities

she awoke from a deep sleep that night, excited, and began to talk to the cat sleeping beside her:

"oh kitty! i had the most wonderful dream! i was up in the tall tree on top of the hill watching the Moon pass by, sighing and sighing 'til i almost cried. all of a sudden i heard this beautiful voice coming from all around me that said 'what's the matter little dancer?' how the voice knew i loved to dance i don't know, but i wasn't afraid and answered: 'i want to dance on the Moon, but i can't reach her.' the voice laughed, 'is that all? nothing is impossible here. the Moon passes very close to this tree; if you desire it deeply and believe it with all your might,, you can leap from that branch to the Moon and dance!' 'but what if i lose my balance?' 'the universe is balanced because you are here. if you know that you will never lose balance. try, just try....' so i believed and i tried. and oh kitty, just like that, there i was, twirling and tapping and doing arabesques on the Moon. it was divine! the night was dark, but the stars held me and i never lost my belief or my balance..."

she stopped then and began to sigh longingly. the cat, who hadn't been a kitty for a long time, said "what's the matter little dancer?" "it was just a dream. i could never really do that." the cat looked directly at her and replied; "i'm a cat, and yet you talk to and hear me, don't you?" "yes, i do." "nothing is impossible here either. believe, have faith in that belief, and go, go, go. now please let me sleep.

with that, the little girl decided she could do anything she set herself to do. later in life, she actually did dance on the surface of the Moon, and every camera in the world was upon her....

have faith in your belief and dance.
