universal perfection

he watched the Master Gardener puzzling over a bonsai tree for a moment before he spoke.

"Master, my Mentor told me to come to you today for my lessons. what am i to do." "well seedling, i need to decide how to prune this little tree. what do you think?" answered the gardener.. "i don't know what to look for..." "first of all, just gaze at the tree, listen to her talk to you and see what she says. then you will know." "i will try." replied the student as he gazed intently at the tree. within seconds, he heard a voice like the wind rustling through leaves ~

"relate what you see of me to yourself young sapling. break through the separation between your nature and that of the universe which we are all a part of. look at my trunk. is it as your growth thus far? i am strong but have bent and curved with the need to adapt to the elements. have you done the same? if so, this is good for you become ever stronger and wiser with each survival. gaze upon my branches which reach out to the light for inspiration. do you reach into the light little one. if so, this is good, for you need light to sustain life. she how i provide shade for creatures of the earth? can you say the same sapling? have you comforted others on you Way? if so, this is good, for all acts of kindness return in abundance. do you see that my leaves are shiny and healthy? you must also put forth healthy thoughts on your Way, shining with the radiance of the divine...."

the student looked up at the Master Gardener and said: "nothing needs to be pruned here Master. she is perfect." the gardener laughed well and replied, "i thought you might say that seedling. thank you so much for your help. now please, go shine on your Way...."
