an ancient and magnificent Druid Bard and friend

sauntered in,

and offered this to me,

as in turn, i offer to thee:

'tis the thorns gathered in this existence

that bring the illusion of imperfection...

so imbibe this missive with thy full essence,

and eat this truth as thee would confection

this world is too perfect
for thee to be not perfect in it:

take the thorn ~ it is easy to pull out ~
it extracts little blood, no cry no shout;
yet the extremities of pain
it teaches much about...
the initial puncture sets nerves ajar,
yet dies soon, if it goes not far...
so one needs be certain
that it stops at the start
and truly, therefore,
never reaches the heart.
so, take the thorn
leave none in the skin;
be perfection 

in this world,
take it out,,,

and win.
