"i have had a sleeping vision of liquid fire, and i know not what it means" the young Dragon answered Se'ahlan respectfully when she asked why he sought her. the Great Blue Dragon, Se'ahlan, had been considered one of the most talented prognosticators of Dragonkind for centuries. she was always difficult to locate, but once found, her channel of Sight was benevolently open to any who stood before her.
"yes" she spoke quietly to the young Dragon who had found her, "i can see into your vision now." Se'ahlan then flapped her wings only once, and both of them were transported to a massive flowing river of lava. she sat upon an outcropping of rock next to the liquid fire and quietly purred for a moment as the young one recovered from the initial shock of the vastly altered landscape. the Great Blue then opened her wings wide, and began to talk:
"i shall tell you of the import as you gaze upon this vision of yours, young Sir. you are in a time of incredible transformation. the liquid fire speaks of the movement of this change into your life, and it will guide you on the path. you must take it upon yourself to move with this massive flow of energy, lest you be consumed by it. this, my young friend, is not the time to avoid the challenges you see coming your way, rather to anticipate them with glee; for riding within these challenges, this flow of change, is the chance for you to prove yourself, to yourself and in the workings of the world. do not turn away from the heat of this flowing, unfiltered exchange of pure energy. it may take your equilibrium away at times, but you must be strong and stand firm in the movement which takes you to your destiny. you have the innate strength, young Dragon, i can see it in you. hold to this strength well as you face this transformation of life, and color it with discipline of action and spiritual awareness. keep your self confidence high as you fly through this, and the fire will meld with your character, burning away all negative thought, helping to make you impervious to the slings of time and the sometimes downward flow of emotions.
yes, young one, now is the time for action ~ your creativity is electrified by the liquid fire inside you. use it well to direct your energy with accuracy and to great effect. you have worked hard and passed many tests and lessons in life already, and i see that you have come to believe in yourself. hold on to this belief as well, for these next challenges of change will be monumental. you will, however, come through unscathed if you follow and flow with the vision of the fire. so, fly now, my friend. act upon your dreams and your ideas as the blaze of inspiration burns within you... and face the path to come without fear."
before the young Dragon could offer thanks to Se'ahlan, she flapped her wings again, only once. the landscape of lava was gone, and so was the Great Blue. the young Dragon then made his way into the sky with his head and heart leading him into a bright and prosperous time.
