‹› kindness and the freedom of being ‹›
i am so happy, so pleased i can still fly. i escaped quickly at that point, streaming across the airy path from his hand to the safety of this tree limb; this beautiful tree limb upon which i still sit as i tell this story.
when i landed on this limb, amazed at my good fortune, i turned to face the beginning point of this path and the still outstretched human hand offering freedom. i began to chirp a sweet and sonorous song of gratitude, which i doubt he could hear across the extensive space betwixt my branch and his hand.... i could see that he too was happy that i could fly ~ his face shone with a smile that would do honor to the Joy of Creation, and water graced his open eyes, which eyes gazed into the sky following the direction i flew. an ecstasy set over me and i sang the most beautiful melody of pain and pleasure, fear and release, that has ever been sung... wishing he could hear my song....
"ohh, i am so happy, so pleased she can still fly! could that truly be her song i hear from so far away...?"
