‹› the hand of benevolence ‹›

"a potent time" said the Seer of Signs as she tossed one of the sacred cards she was reading into the sky, where it took its place in the clouds. all those who had gathered at the beach witnessed her magic with growing expectation. "see you here" the Seer continued; "it is the time of the new Moon, and the portals to Truth have opened to bring us signs. there is a benevolent hand come upon us this evening. a strong hand, yet one of love and compassion, pressing through the ethereal barriers of space and time to offer us the truth of auspicious beginnings. it brings us overflowing evidence that now is a powerful time to begin new aspects of that which we have already conceived. this hand of benevolence holds the cup of our life gently and with grace, showing that if we move forward from this moment with kindness, all we have conceived will come into being with gracious help from the unseen powers of life. it tells us to continue on the path we have started with faith in, and assurance of, its ultimate successful completion. accept this assurance dear friends, and believe in your own internal strength to see it through. in this manner, our positive, beneficent intentions will eagerly flow into and begin to blend with the sea of all existence... and will touch others with the same inspiration we feel here tonight...."  the Seer paused for a moment, deep in thought, then seemingly convinced of something important, she went on:
"the signs are clear; all the portals have opened with this new Moon, and unexpected opportunities will materialize to fill our cups with abundant love and, yes, even material reward. hold nothing back at this time of potent signs. open yourselves to experience life fully as it unfolds in the breath of the heavens, and pours into the ocean of manifestation. this is indeed a potent time of opening, and you will not wish to miss the rewards available if you hearken to it. be brave and and move forward with focused energy, yet continue to remember and emulate the hand of benevolence and compassion which offers its rewards to the pure of heart. in this then, you may offer the same to others, and find great honor on the path. and as you progress with this attitude in heart, mind and spirit, you shall also find immense joy and success in the actions you take from this point."

the sky had changed as the Seer of Signs spoke, and the darkness of the night of the new Moon began to fall upon the beach and the people gathered there. no one moved however, as they pondered their possible destinies and watched the last rays of the Sun glisten on the cup in the sky. and as the benevolent hand dissolved into the night, so did the Seer. however her last words to them lingered in the passing twilight and resonated in everyones' heart: "fly now into your own beautiful future, with faith in yourselves, and on the wings of your love of life...."
